This project was really fun to see come together. Everyone created the cranes using paper. They varied in size. We first started out with paper cranes and we strung them along a string, taped them down, and hung them over the front office area. What I got out of this lesson was that small things can really come together and make something great. It was amazing to see how all of the cranes looked when they were finally all hung up. The difference between process is product is that process is when you learn things and experience new ideas. Product is when you can look back on all of the things you've learned and experienced.

For my figuarative piece I embroidered my cats fade. She only has one eye, so I tried to incorporate that into the work. One of the challenges I overcame durring this project was deciding on how to represent my cats face. I decided on embroiderey because I have a lot of fun with it and enjoy using it as a medium. One of the successful things about my piece was how well it turned out. I really like the variation of shades on her face because she has those in real life as well. One thing I would change about this work would be to make it larger. I would have been able to fit more detail in my piece.
I was not here for either of those projects For my dwelling project I used the medium of embroiderey. I chose to make a small house nestled in a tree. For me, a treehouse represents happiness because I had one when I was younger and I really enjoyed it. This project was challenging to me because I found it difficult to relate the subject of dwelling to myself. However, what was successful durring this project is that it turned out the way I wanted it to. I wanted it to represent how the simplist of things can make you imensely happy. In the future, I would change how detailed the piece is and spend a little more time on it.
